I have been working on this slipper for months. I don't know what was wrong with me I just could not make it right. With a little help from my friends at the Incredible Sweater Machine Club on Yahoo, I was able to complete my first slipper. They have been such a help. Now, I am on to make slippers for all the ladies in my life.

I made a slipper 5 times did it wrong 5 times. Its called a "learning curve" I think I called it a different word LOL! I have at least 3 of those patterns I may be emailing you when I try it.

wow--i've seen this pattern on ebay and now i want it!! looking at how yours came out has inspired me to make this for myself---love it---will be buying it!!
I love this pattern. I've sent a pair as far away as Brazil. I first bought the pattern off Ebay but now have this wonderful lady's patterns on permanent bookmark and have done more of her patterns.

I love this pattern myself. It is so easy to make once you get the first one done. I also like how easy it is to convert sizes. I have just made some for really large feet and wide feet. It is great.

The neat part is that there are so many size options with this pattern. A bit of tweeking with the kind of yarn or key plate and you have wonderful variations. I love her other patterns too. I hope you get to try some of them.
I agree. There are so many things you can change to make it different. I am working on making one into a ballerina slipper. I think that would be fun.
Hi Diana, I have problem sewing the mock rib (not sure how to make it nicer),is there any website that i can visit so i can learn? and for the side what stitch would you advise to stitch up(flat seam? mattress stitch??)

As for a great seam, I like to use a mattress stitch. I sent you a few links to instructions on how to do a mattress stitch.
